Çağan Şekercioğlu on Bird Conservation

Dr Çağan Şekercioğlu is a Conservation Ecologist from Turkey. He is the president of the conservation organisation KuzeyDoğa and Professor in the department of biology at the University of Utah. I have communicated with Çağan on many occasions over the past few years regarding my Turkish conservation projects and found him incredibly helpful and supportive despite my slightly unusual approach!

I just came across the following YouTube clip that features Çağan being interviewed on the subject of bird conservation on Park City Television.

I am sure you will agree that this is an insightful view on global and local bird conservation. I must admit being slightly envious of Çağan’s travels, but so very glad that this he is so highly driven by wildlife conservation!
