Tristan ‘Inky’ Reid: more pain in support of Turkey’s biodiversity

My good mate Tristan Reid (aka Binocularface/Inky/the Sultan of Pain – insert your own epithet, but make sure it’s good-humoured or you’ll be getting a visit from me and my righteous disapproval) has been under the needle gun again, and has emerged with a remarkable tattoo of a Radde’s Accentor, the fifth ‘special’ bird of Turkey (just FIFTEEN to go then) and – word is – it really hurt (I say ‘word is’ – I could hear the sobs from here in Wiltshire and Tris lives near Carlisle)…

Tris is undergoing this regular pain for a very good reason – he’s raising funds to support Turkey’s biodiversity, which is under real threat (details below). It’s a great cause (and even if it wasn’t you’d have to admit that this tattoo is very pretty indeed: good job by the Immortal Art Studio team…)

And why is Tris – who actually has a pain threshold similar to me and anyone else reading this – ‘giving his right arm’ for Turkey?
